Michelle Leung is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker and journalist. She has a background in international political economy, and worked on policy issues with Media Matters for America in Washington D.C., before joining VICE News as Channel Manager in 2014 to help oversee its launch and development. She now directs, produces, and shoots documentaries for Vice.
Her work primarily focuses on youth culture, gender, social justice, and current events. She speaks almost fluent Portuguese, is obsessed with podcasts and all things NPR, and really sucks at tweeting.
