Michelle Leung is a California native, but has since called several cities home. She has a background in international political economy, having earned her BFA at The University of Puget Sound. In 2014, she worked on policy issues with Media Matters for America in Washington D.C., before joining VICE News as Channel Manager to help oversee it's launch and development. Now she writes, produces, reports on camera, and sometimes shoots video for VICE.com.
Her work primarily focuses on youth culture, social justice, and current events. She speaks almost fluent Portuguese, is obsessed with podcasts and all things NPR, and really sucks at tweeting,
